About

Built on underwriting. Measured by the return.

TIH Signature Experiences is a luxury destination management company based in Austin, Texas, and a registered DBA of TIH Industries LLC. We produce retreats, executive offsites, investor summits, conferences, sponsor hospitality programs, and bespoke private experiences across Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. Every one of them is built to return more than it costs.

The Short Answer

Why does this firm exist?

Most events are budgeted as a cost and judged on how they looked. We think that's the wrong test. A retreat, a summit, or a hospitality program is an investment, and an investment should have a documented return.

Our leadership spent 23 years underwriting complex corporate property portfolios at Allianz, AIG, Travelers, and Crum & Forster. That work teaches you to read every contract, price every risk, and plan for the day something fails. We brought all of it to event production.

  • Read every contract before anyone signs it
  • Verify every certificate instead of assuming it exists
  • Price the risk before it shows up on the day
  • Name a backup for everything critical
  • Put every decision in writing

What We Believe

What do we believe?

Four principles run every engagement. They're the reason clients hire us, and the reason we turn some work down.

Principle 01 Return decided before the first deposit
01

The outcome comes first

Before we book a venue, we work out what the event is supposed to return: a program that sells out, capital raised, a leadership team aligned, a sponsor relationship deepened, or guests who come back next year. Then we design every element to get there.

After the event closes, we measure the result against the target and put it in writing. A beautiful event that doesn't move the number isn't a success. It's a missed opportunity.

Principle 02 Risk reviewed before anyone signs
02

Risk gets handled the way an underwriter would handle it

Every vendor contract is reviewed before signature. Every certificate of insurance is verified. Weather, medical, and security protocols are documented, and every critical vendor has a named backup.

Most firms find out what a contract says when something goes wrong. We find out before anyone signs it.

Principle 03 Control direct property relationships
03

We keep the room

VIP arrivals, executive floors, and room blocks stay under our direct property relationships. We don't hand your guests to a booking platform, because a platform can't protect the recognition, the upgrades, and the small details that make an arrival feel handled.

One firm manages every vendor on your event, so the standard holds from the first car at the airport to the last course at dinner.

Principle 04 Fit answered on the first call
04

We say no when we should

We'd rather lose the booking than take work we aren't the right firm for. Weddings, personal milestone events, party planning, hourly staffing, and production outside the United States belong with firms built for them, and we'll tell you who.

Selectivity is how our leadership stays on every site visit and on the floor on event day.

Track Record

What have we produced?

Our leadership has produced structured corporate events for more than six years. Programs with a clear agenda and a demanding guest list are what we're known for.

One program we produced ran three days of curated events: a poolside barbecue to open the weekend, a luxury-inspired gala for 30 guests, and an intimate Sunday brunch for the members who stayed through the close. Our current work includes a themed, multi-city book tour produced as a prelaunch campaign, run under one contract and one production calendar from the first city to the last.

Where We Work

Why is Texas home?

We're based in Austin, and we hold venue and vendor relationships directly in four markets. Texas hospitality runs warmer than most places, and we produce it on purpose.

Based in Austin

Our home base sits close to Hill Country ranches that take a few private groups a year and never advertise. They answer the phone for people they already know.

Four markets, held directly

Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio, plus the Hill Country retreat corridor between them. Every venue on your short list is one our leadership has walked.

Anywhere in the United States

The standard travels with us. Outside Texas, we build the vendor bench on the ground before we contract anything. We don't produce internationally.

Common Questions

Questions about us

Who owns TIH Signature Experiences?

TIH Signature Experiences is a registered DBA of TIH Industries LLC, a Texas company established in 2020 and headquartered in Austin.

Is TIH Signature Experiences an event planner?

No. A planner executes logistics you've already decided on. A destination management company owns the destination: venue access, vendor contracting, ground transportation, guest movement, local programming, and on-site operations. We add one more layer by working out what the event is supposed to return before we design a single element of it.

What does insurance underwriting have to do with producing events?

More than most people expect. An event is a stack of contracts, vendors, guests, and weather, and every one of them carries risk. Twenty-three years of underwriting trained our leadership to read the contract before signing it, verify coverage instead of assuming it, and plan for the day something fails. That discipline runs through every engagement.

Are you insured, and do your vendors carry coverage?

TIH Industries LLC maintains comprehensive general liability insurance, and a certificate is available on request for any contracted event. Every subcontracted vendor carries their own coverage at a minimum of $1M per occurrence and $1M aggregate, verified before anyone works your event.

Where are you based?

Austin, Texas. We hold venue and vendor relationships directly in Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio, and we serve clients anywhere in the United States. We don't produce internationally.

Can we speak with past clients?

Yes. Client names stay private unless a client asks us to share them, and references are available on request.
